Hotel Manager, Geoff Paris (author of "More Sauce Madam?) has more than forty years of experience of rude or inconsiderate customers and guests (as you can discover in his book). Geoff says that most people are polite and appreciative but there are always one or two who treat hospitality staff like dirt. There are also some nice customers who simply don't realise they are causing problems for the staff or other guests.
