In a lengthy and emotional interview on the Afternoon Show on BBC Radio Nottingham (14:30, Monday 2nd October 2023) author Stephen Jackley and presenter, Andy Whittaker discussed Stephen's memoir of prison life "Just Time: A Journey Through Britain's Fractured Justice System." They covered many topics including Stephen's frightening first night in prison, the quality of different prisons, the aim of prison (rehabilitation and/or punishment?), Stephens diagnosis of Asperger's while in custody - and how Stephen attained an OU Degree during his incarceration and went on to found a charitable foundation.
