The September 2022 issue of "The Environment" (the magazine of the CIWEM) included a three-page feature article entitled Happier Endings: Redesigning what happens last to all our stuff". In the article Joe Macleod (author of the books Endineering and Ends) asks: 'Why do we find it so difficult to say goodbye to all our stuff?' Joe goes on to discuss, 'how and why industry must neutralise our consumer lifestyles' negative environmental consequences and help us to appreciate the things we have already.'
