I am an experienced book publicist with a background in advertising, PR, publishing and journalism. I spent ten years working as the Press & Media Relations Manager for two well-known publishing companies.
In 2013, I set up on my own as an independent PR professional. Since then I have carried-out media campaigns for numerous authors and publishers to help them secure publicity (reviews, feature articles and interviews) in newspapers & magazines; on websites; social media & blogs; and on radio, podcasts & TV.
For non-fiction authors and publishers, I offer a choice of defined PR Campaigns at fixed prices – all finely targeted to make the most of the available budget.
For fiction & non-fiction authors and publishers, I offer PR consultancy/mentoring and, from Autumn 2023, I will also be offering PR Coaching – a series of one-to-one, economically-priced, tutorials on how to do the PR for your own book.
As well as working with experienced authors and publishers, I extend a friendly welcome to first-time authors too and help to steer them through the (sometimes bewildering) world of publishing, publicity and PR.
I am a Partner Member of The Alliance of Independent Authors and a Member of The Publishers’ Publicity Circle.
