... well, sort of.
I undertook the Macmillan Cancer Support SWIM IT 2022 Challenge swimming 22 miles (35.4 km) – the equivalent distance as swimming the Channel – but one-mile-at-a-time in my local swimming pool. I love swimming but this was still quite a challenge for me. A mile is 1600m/64 lengths! I started the challenge on 29th June 2022 – and completed it on 2nd September 2022! An enormous thank you to everyone who donated and helped me exceed my fundraising target.
